Certification of Krkonoše's forests

KRNAP received FSC certification in 2009.The priority of KRNAP is to conduct responsible forestry, in relation to forests. To prove this, it has decided to manage forests under Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards.

These promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management. The certification process is voluntary and based on the initiative of the forest's owner. FSC certification represents acknowledgment of responsible and close-to-nature forest management.

KRNAP received FSC certification in 2009 in light of an exemplary evaluation of its high standard of care for the forest ecosystems of the Krkonoše Mountains National Park. The certification audit occurs every five years.
