TransParcNet Meeting 2011
The 3rd TransParcNet meeting took place in Krkonoše (Czech Republic) - Karkonosze (Poland) Mountains transboundary National Parks from 7th to 10th June 2011. The meeting was held under the auspices of Mr. Tomáš Chalupa, Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic and Mr. Lubomír Franc, President of Hradec Králové Region. The Hradec Králové Region has also kindly supported us financially.
Luční bouda (www.lucnibouda.cz), the largest historical and one of the oldest mountain chalets in Krkonoše Mts. hosted about 35 representatives of transboundary protected areas all across Europe. Field trip on Thursday has covered the top of the mountains – Mount Sněžka as well as fantastic glacial cirques of Mały and Wielki Staw.
