Kick off Meeting of the Project “Strategická a koordinovaná správa
KRNAP – KPN“ (CZ.11.04.01/00/24_017/0000184)

Objective

The aim of the meeting is to present the latest research findings regarding the natural environment of the Krkonoše Mountains, with a focus on applying these insights to the strategic planning of both the Krkonoše and Karkonosze National Park Administrations. The central theme is ongoing climate change, which represents a fundamental challenge for nature conservation across both parks.

Venue

Hotel VZ Bedřichov, Bedřichov 62, Špindlerův Mlýn. The venue is accessible by car and public transport (bus).

Languages

English, Czech, and Polish. However, please note that all presentation slides and poster texts must be in English.

Arrival & Registration

Registration opens at the hotel reception desk on September 21st at 10:00 AM. To check in, please either present the QR code from the official mobile app or provide your surname.

Mobile Application

A dedicated mobile app (available for both iOS and Android) will be used throughout the meeting. Every attendee will receive a download link and log-in credentials ahead of the event.

Parking

Parking directly at the hotel is limited and costs 70 CZK per day (payable at the reception desk). If the hotel lot is full, the nearest alternative parking is available at P2 - Hromovka.

Duration: 15 minutes total (including Q&A/discussion).
Format: PPTX or PDF.

Poster Presentations

Format: Maximum size A0, portrait orientation.

All abstracts will be published in the official Book of Abstracts, which will be made available to participants in PDF format.

Excursion

Several excursion routes will be organised. Details and registration information will be provided to participants in good time before the meeting takes place.
